Country Jam Colorado was founded in 1992 after the promoters successfully produced a country music festival by the same name in Eau Claire, WI.  With a desire to further expand the Country Jam brand into Western Colorado, Jam Ranch outside Grand Junction was selected as the perfect destination and one of Colorado’s biggest parties was born.

Country Jam was purchased by Townsquare Media in 2013 and since that time has delivered robust lineups bringing even more people to Jam Ranch than ever before, including some of country music’s most recognizable names: Miranda Lambert, Florida Georgia Line, Kid Rock, Montgomery Gentry, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, Jake Owen, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Thomas Rhett, Billy Currington, Dierks Bentley, Toby Keith, The Band Perry, and many more.

Country Jam celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2016 featuring its biggest lineup ever, highlighted by headliners Lee Brice, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Zac Brown Band. More than 88,000 invaded Grand Junction to see more than 20 artists take the stage, including a surprise visit by pop superstar Gwen Stefani during Shelton’s set on his 40th birthday.

More than 92,000 fans attended the 26th annual festival over four days in 2017, with headliners Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Justin Moore and Randy Houser taking the stage.

The festival surpassed the 90,000-mark again in 2018 for its 27th anniversary. Country Jam featured headliners Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Brantley Gilbert and Brett Eldredge, as well as other big names in country music.
